Before RMMmax can get started with managing the tools for the clients and agents in the environment you have to enable Basic Communications with the RMM environment.
Enable Daily RMM Sync:
Daily RMM Sync allows RMMmax to request Client and agent status data at regular intervals (6 times a day). This allows RMMmax to provide tool automation with recent online statuses of agents.
Allow Tool Automation:
Tool automation includes tool scans and any other automated activity the tool may perform. This is required to allow tools to collect or change agent data.
Send Notification Email:
RMMmax can notify the notification email address about different activities performed by users of RMMmax or RMMmax automation. To select what you are sent, visit the Notifications main menu.
Hide Disabled Clients:
You have the option to hide clients that are currently not enabled from the Client list in RMMmax. This may be useful if you have a large client count and do not plan to deploy RMMmax to all clients. Once hidden, you will have to unhide clients to enable them at a later date. Otherwise, you will not see them to enable them.
Hide Disabled Agents:
You have the option to hide disabled agents. This option will remove disabled agents from all views. You will need to disable this function to enable new agents. If you are using the onboarding defaults, then agents and clients can auto-enable based on these presets and will show up in views if pre-enabled to do so.
