Managing default settings

Onboarding presets allow you to define how you want each new client or agent to be configured in RMMmax. As new agents or clients check into your RMM environment, RMMmax will enable the tools and settings as described by the user. When the onboarding presets are not enabled, all clients and agents will default to disabled upon the first check-in.

To access the onboarding presets configuration, select the Environment / Enable Onboarding Presets menu.

Onboarding Presets Configuration:

The onboarding presets cover basic client and agent enablement along with the individual tools. Some settings are very simple, just enabling the tool which allows the tools to collect data from the agents. Other tools like the Software Manager may have multiple parts to the configuration of the tool.

First, we need to enable onboarding presets.

Agents

This controls enables the agents and servers for RMMmax client and agent scans and allows the agents to be monitored. This is required for all other tools to function.

Windows Defender
