How to enable your Clients and Agents For Windows Defender Management Tool
To allow RMMmax to talk to your RMM about the Windows Defender statuses of your agents you need to tell RMMmax what clients you want the tool to effect. Once you have enabled the client, you will need to then also enable the agents you want to allow the RMMmax Windows Defender tool to manage.
To Enable a Client
Select the client from the client list then select the Windows Defender tab from the lower panel. From the Windows Defender tool menu, select the Settings -> Settings function to open the form to enable the client.
Select the checkbox to enable the client and save to enable the client. Uncheck the box to disable the client.
Enable Your Agents
Once your client is enabled you will be allowed to enable agents. Select the agents from the agent list and select to toggle the agents status. Once agents are enable, RMMmax automation will collect the agents status on next cycle.
- First, Select the agents you want to toggle
- Next, Select the menu function Enable / Disable from the menu
Automated data collections
The automated RMMmax Windows Defender scans happen daily. However you can manually force a client level or agent level scan that will send a request to your RMM platform immediately to have the current online agent return their current statuses.
