Manual Software Package Sync

This is an optional function and is not required for the basic operation of the Software Manager. The Software Manager will automate this function daily as part of its daily automation tasks. However, there may be times when you will want to manually push a Sync request to the RMM environment, requesting that agent data gets refreshed sooner than the automated schedule.

Sync Software Manager With RMM (All Clients)

Select from the main menu the Environment / Sync with RMM / Software Manager menu item. This will cause RMMmax to request from the RMM that all enabled agents across all enable clients to report back in about their current package status.

Sync Software Manager With RMM (One Client)

Select from the Software Manager menu the Commands / Rescan Client submenu item. This will send a request to the RMM for enabled agents under the selected client to refresh their package data.

Sync Software Manager With RMM (One Agent)

Select an agent, then navigate to the Software Manager tab under the agent view. Select from the Software Manage main menu Commands / Scan For Packages menu item. This will send a request to the RMM for just one agent to refresh its package data with RMMmax.
