The Software manager treats all OS types the same, if you are using a mix of OS types in your environment that includes Windows, Mac, and Linux agents then you will see all the agents here listed with their package managers.
Things you can do at the client level
- Enable the Client for Windows, Mac, and or Linux
- Create an approved software list for each OS type
- Enable or disable agents
- Set update schedules by site or location
- Set update schedules by OS type
- View current Package manager versions
- View current update status date
- View current update status
- Install software across one or more agents
- Manually push updates to one or more agents
- Manually scan for current agent statuses
