A user asked, I have installed a new RMM server. Can I just set up a new API key or does the instance have to be completely deleted first?

A couple of things to consider, If you are just updating the API Secret and all the clients and agents will remain with the same ID’s then you can just change the API URL or secret and be done. Otherwise, if you are moving hosts where agent IDs are going to change or not exist as they were, you can purge the data from the system which will cause either part, or all the agent and client configurations to be removed. Purging data will not affect console configurations like Onboard Presets, RMM Communications and Team Members.
